I'd just leave GPU as it is to fight on its own, the extra airflow it would get should be more than sufficient. I'm not really looking to OC the 390 to max, only a bit so i wont be pushing it to the edge really (nor does my current PSU allow it xd) so perhaps GPU PWM not really that important Obv i would adjust these when i would see actual temps in real life use, so these are just arbitrary. Its only one i could find after looking quite a while.i could just hook up 4 case fans + cpu on that and set it so when I'm at multimedia browsing (like <15% load) to be just working quiet while keeping cpu under like 55c or smtn, then when i turn on games i assume this would spike up so i could have 2nd setting for load between 20-50%, where fans start to work at like 60 70%, like cpu 55-70c range and then 3rd setting for when cpu hits 70c when its either doing actual work at 100% load or CPU intensive game. Finding Mini 4-Pin GPU might be a bit hard, ill see and get back to you, I've found the other one quite easily, will have to go through land based retailers websites xD My only concern is given in live in Croatia, a lot of online retailers don't ship here, or at like 20 30e shipping costs. I'll take pictures of case location in the cpu desk, and try to google a good 300r setup which should closely reflect mine and then draw the fan locations i plan to use and this should give you a better idea of the layout.ġ000 RPM +/- 20% 54.0 CFM 20dBA 0.30A 3 pinġ200 RPM +/- 10% 32.95 CFM 18dBA. I mean my hearing is fine, i can hear stuff that most ppl cant in CS GO etc but i've lived in heavily AC-ed regions of the world for a while so maybe my brain is a bit deaf to fan sounds so i got a lot bigger tolerance lol. When i had it at 20%, the fan that is at 100% 22.8db at back side of case was barely noticeable.

These are rated at 25.8 db so its quite a bit more sound than 1200 version but then again.i mean i was playing around with Fan Xpert yesterday and noticed that at full load only sound that i hear from my motherboard is the CPU fan, when i set the fan at 20%(which is too low for it to even be at idle at good temperatures, but i will re-seat/ reapply thermal paste when 300r comes) my cpu went almost full quiet, i could barely hear it being on vs when it hit 1300rpm(its max) which is rated at 26.8 DB. Now when i look at it, seems old retailer did such poor job w wiring and stuff inside cpu and it was kinda best i could get given my location.Īctually PWM fans cost exactly the same as the normal ones, i can even get the 1500 redux version if i want for 30c more per fan.

I used to build cpus a lot more before like every 2-3 yrs but now i've slowed down quite a bit and didn't even build my current one due to RMA requirements so seems i'm outdated quite a bit.

I cannot believe they refined cpu building to this extend, before it was just about slapping parts together and voila. Yes i've actually read your guide twice last night but was quite tired, will go to through it again and take cliffs. Case comes with 1x front and 1x rear fan, should i replace rear one with one of noctua ones since its probably quite better than the stock, and move stock to like top slot? I'm planning to have 2 at front, 1 on back, 2 on top and 1 on bottom. Basically question is how loud will they be? My current case has few 22 DB rated ones and its not rly that bad, but the case has only 3 fans vs what will now be 6 (2 already come w the case). My CPU fan is rated at 26db, and graphic card will be probably MSI R9 390. I'd like to get a decent airflow in my case since its inside desk table so case got almost no breathing room on sides but front and back are good, with top only having about 5-6 cm of space before it reaches wood. 1200 rpm one has 30% more airflow.īasically question how loud will my case be if i get 4 of them, all kinda hooked directly to PSU w no controller. Hi guys i was wondering which i should get out of the two for my cpu case.ġ200 rpm one is rated at 19.6 db while 900 one at 13,2 dB.
